On-Line Entry

Because of the special nature of the Amaateur Team, entering on line requires a two-step process. Your entry cannot be processed unless both steps are completed.

1. Click on one of the links below to pay by credit card. Please include your team name if you have one, otherwise use the name of your first board.
2. Send an e-mail to admin@scchess.com, with the team name and the names and USCF ID numbers of all your players. Be sure to include the name on the credit card you used for payment.

* The fine print:
1) All individual entrants will be placed on a team. We will attempt to satisfy special requests such as board order or skipping rounds, but this cannot be guaranteed.
2) If possible, we will inform you by e-mail of the names and e-mail addresses of your teammates. However, many players enter individually at the door, so if you do not hear from us, come to the tournament site on Saturday morning, and your team roster will be posted.
3) You may withdraw and request a refund until 11 p.m. on Thursday, February 12. After that, entry fees will not be refunded, though you and your team may request that we apply it to a different player. By submitting an individual entry, you agree to play on the team on which you are placed, unless you and your team agree otherwise.
4) Individual entries will be refunded only if you withdraw before the deadline or we fail to place you on a team. E.g., if a player is placed on a team which has already paid an entry fee, neither the player nor the team gets a rebate.
