The 1999 Southern California State Invitational Championship was played over the weekends of July 10-11 and 17-18. The tournament was held at Oscar Maldonado's California Chess Club located at 11610 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064. This was a 7 round, FIDE rated event, and was directed for the SCCF by NTD John Hillery. The 2 co-champions will be seeded into next years championship. The games are available in PGN text format.
